| Bio: | Umm.... yes.... let's see..... if you're reading this then you're one of my friends and I don't have to describe myself to you..... That.... or you're some wierd freak who's all nosy and stuff...... If so.... Welcome... I'm Toad D-Manz, I'm a Gemini(obviously), about 5'8", have long brown hair, blue eyes, a goofy grin..... and I'm one of the strangest people you'll ever meet.... Just ask my friend Bob the invisible monkey(who is a supervillain fought by Incognito Man, and his sidekick, the Gimp Blunder) who pulls the top of my skull off and eats my brains.... Or atleast... what's left.... :) Oh, and yes, notice there are lots of communities that deal with nudity... 2 reasons, nudity, especially of the female body, is a magnificent work of art, and I'm a hornball.... Oh well... we all have our faults........ Oh, unfortunately, I have discovered part of me that I really don't like, that most don't believe in..... Oh, just randomness, I'm fluent in Mandarin Chinese, thank you AirForce for that one good thing in my life that you gave me, with the massive number of bad things that came with it.... But, seriously, yes, I can be serious, for the most part I'd say I'm a decent guy... I was raised in a very open-minded household, and have settled on religious preference of "Asatru". I stick with that because it's the simplest way to describe it. In actuality, I've taken bits and pieces that sound right from several religions: Norse(mostly), Shamanism, Buddhism, and more, and combined them into my own thing. I do practice witchcraft, but never to extremes. I, as was stated earlier in the program, am former Air Force, the reason I'm not in any more is because they destroyed my knee, and then blamed it all on myself from before I ever joined, which is complete bullshit, but, c'est la vie. I'm the oldest of 4 kids, the others being two sisters, one of which just turned 20 and is now pregnant, the other just turned 16, and a brother who is now 10. From about the age of 14 or so, I had to be a dad to my siblings, because it was just myself, my mom, and my sisters, with my little brother visiting us at certain intervals. Currently I am a dad... No, not father, dad. Being a dad is a lot more meaningful. What's the difference you might say? Well, any sperm-bearing man can be a father, it takes one hell of a guy to be a dad. I am a dad by choice. I flew from Florida to California as quickly as I could when I found out a friend of mine was abandoned by her boyfriend when she was only a month or two pregnant. From 4 months into the pregnancy until the baby was 8 months old, I was around, doing my best to be a dad. At that point, I had a few things to take care of, and took a 4 month leave, which killed me every minute. I missed the boy so much(and he's currently 3 1/2 years old and can stand to just above my navel). On his 1st birthday I came back into his life, and I'm very happy because of it. A few people have actually said that they were impressed at the fact that I've gone so far out of my way to take care of this child who's not mine by blood, but y'know what? When you look back at your life, and the only memories of your father are told to you by your mom about how he was an abusive jackass who never wanted you brought home from the hospital, and because of him your mom LOST weight while pregnant with you.... Yeah, you wouldn't be too thrilled. After that, I had an abusive alcoholic for a step-father, not a grand improvement... So, since then, I've taken a blood oath upon myself to never be like them, and because of it, I'm a dad to a beautiful little boy. But, I digress, sorry, part of the Gemini thing is getting distracted easily(yes, I understand that astrology is one of those things to be taken by faith on whether it's "all true" or whatever, the things that I've found in astrology that link to myself that are ACCURATE are the only things that I will claim about my astrological self as true, and, well, Geminis do tend to get distracted easily). Alright, let me see, where was I?... I'm not sure, so I'll just say more random things about myself and possibly remember... I'm currently still looking for some parts of myself, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally(the last one will probably take the longest, hehe...). I can feel certain "threads" pulling me towards different things, namely my brother, my wife(no, I'm not married, at least, not in this life, but I can still feel a pull because of how bound our souls are towards each other, just need to come across her in a situation in which we can end up being together, but therein lies the trick with life, finding the right times and places for things to happen), my sword, my home, and a couple other things that I'm still trying to figure out what they could be. I think that some of them are friends and family from past lives... Some are enemies from past lives....... Especially THAT one....*snarl*..... Anywho... I can feel the pull towards my home and my sword(something I had in one of my lives from a long time ago that I'm still bound to) pulling me roughly in the direction of Ireland... Could be off, but I believe that's where it is... I've got no problems talking to random people who come across my LJ and want to chat on AIM or YIM or just leave a message and possibly friend me... I think that about covers everything about me, aside from what you will read within my LJ, so, I bid ye good day...*bows and waves* Oh, and just so you know, D-Manz is pronounced "demons", it's the band that me and my friends were going to start, and it has just stuck as the nickname for our little group. The name D-Manz is owned by my friend Chris, and should you try to take it, he, along with the rest of our group, will kick the shit out of you... Nothing personal, just keep your hands off! | ||
